This program offers an easy way to enjoy Italy’s best sights at your own pace. This 7-day trip takes you to the country’s essential sights, offering the flexibility of your own rental vehicle to reach your favourite places.

Italy is acknowledged as the birthplace of Western culture. It is also famous worldwide for its delicious cuisine, its trendy fashion industry, luxury sports cars and motorcycles, diverse regional cultures and dialects, as well as for its beautiful coast, alpine lakes and mountain ranges.

Italy is an experience of shopping as this beautiful country is also home to some of the best places to shop in the world.  Italy has outlet malls on the outskirts of most of its big cities. These outlets and factory stores offer year-round discounts on the latest styles.

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1

Kuala Lumpur / Milan

Check in for your flight to Milan.  Upon arrival in Milan, transfer to your hotel. Check in accordingly and spend the rest of the day at own leisure.  The city is particularly known for its abundance of high-end fashion retailers and the beautiful Duomo Cathedral. All the main attractions and famous buildings are all dotted close to the city centre.  We will have a brief city tour of Milan, which highlights includes the Gothic Duomo, Glass-domed Galleria, La Scala Opera House and spend the rest of time in the bustling centre around the Gothic Duomo.

DAY 2

Milan – Venice 

Milan to Venice is 257 kilometres on autostrada in less than 3 hours. Taking a road trip from Milan to Venice is a great way to see the beautiful Italian landscapes, and experience cultural and regional diversity along the way. Endless fields, stunning vineyards and quaint villages are just waiting to be explored and discovered.

You will reach Venice in the afternoon by taking a train from Mestre to Venice. Venice is small. You can walk across it, from head to tail, in about an hour. Nearly all of your sightseeing is within a 20-minute walk of the Rialto Bridge or St. Mark’s Square. One of the famous places to see in Venice, Doge’s Palace is an immensely beautiful and gorgeous palace, located on the bank of the Grand Canal. 

DAY 3

Venice – Florence

We will drive to Florence with couple of stops. Florence is a city of delights, and walking its streets is the best way to get a sense of its pleasures.  We will explore Michaelangelo Square and the famous Statue of David where you will have a breathtaking and the most beautiful scenic view of this ancient city. Later, we will have a walking tour covering the Duomo and the “gate of Paradise”, Ponte Vecchio, Uffici Museum, Pizza Signoria and Piazza Santa Croce. Enjoy panoramic views of Florence from the top of Piazzale Michelangelo.

The art galleries and museums of Florence are renowned throughout the world and holidaymakers flock to admire the superb David of Michelangelo, the Venus of Botticelli and the stunning Duomo with its marble façade which glows in the golden sunlight.  Florence is a good place to shop for artisan crafts, luxurious fashions, shoes, leather, jewellery, and perfume.

DAY 4

Florence – Pisa (100km) – La Spezia (78km)

Today we will travel through picturesque scenery in Umbria and Tuscany before arriving in the town of Pisa.  We will spend some time in city of Pisa, famous for its UNESCO-listed Leaning Tower.  The legendary Leaning Tower of Pisa, built in 1173 as a bell tower for the Duomo.   The adjacent Duomo and Baptistery are among the other important architectural heritage of the city.  As optional activity, experience the thrill of climbing the 294 steps of the spiral staircase of the Leaning Tower, rising slowly above Pisa’s vast Piazza dei Miracoli (Miracles Square).

DAY 5

Cinque Terre

Spend the whole day visiting the beautiful Cinque Terre seaside villages, consisting of five villages strung along a rugged 18km coastline in the Liguria region. From La Spezia, we enter this heritage area by train to visit two of its most beautiful villages; Vernazza & Manarola. Immerse yourself into the charming atmosphere of these remote Italian seaside villages.  The beauty of the rugged cliffs and romantic fishing villages once inspired poet Lord Byron.

DAY 6

La Spezia – Milan (240km)

We will make our way back to Milan with a few hour stop at Serravale Designer Outlet 

DAY 7

Milan – Kul

Depart to Kul with memorable memories of some of Italy’s best city sights.
